Spectrum Entertainment & Events provides Audio, Video and Lighting production services for national fitness championship.

 

Fit Sciences, held its first annual Health Expo and Fitness Championship held at the Emory University PE center on 7/18/2009 which showcased top physical athletes from around the world.  The all-day event featured outdoor and indoor events within various divisions and the winners were recognized by the World Bodybuilding & Fitness Fitness Federation.

 

Spectrum's team started working Friday installing the stage and setting up all the Production elements for the event.  Chris Dollar, Managing Partner cited that the stage set was incredible with a functioning design to keep the attention on the competitors and not to distract the audience from the focus of the competition.   With dual video screens and 2 cameras on the stage, every seat had front row advantage.  We featured video interviews and playback for competitors as they were presented on stage, and a full stage wash for lighting and an intelligent light show to dazzle the crowed before and between each round of judging.  “There are always audio obstacles working in a gymnasium, expecially with reverb and echo, but we were able to easily overcome them by having the right gear needed for the event and the experience knowing how to use it!” claimed Josh Lewis, audio engineer.

 

Overall, the event was a smash success and look for Spectrum at the 2010 Fitness championships which will be held once again in Atlanta!
